The office of the Protocol and Liaison Service of the United Nations no longer processes this type of request. All applications for delegation parking decal must be done through the e-deleGATE platform. In addition, temporary decals are approved by Special Services Unit (SSU) of the Department of Safety and Security.

The Flag of the United Nations was created on 20 October 1947. Its use is regulated by the United Nations flag code and regulations. The design of the UN emblem was approved on 7 December 1946, it embraces a map of the world inscribed in a wreath consisting of crossed branches of the olive tree.
