About us

The Evaluation, Analysis and Monitoring Service coordinates global oversight and operational analysis for the Department for General Assembly and Conference Management in support of integrated global management. By integrating programme planning, risk management, and tracking of key performance indicators, the Service delivers data-driven insights across documentation, translation, and interpretation services at all four duty stations. 

 

Our work

Key responsibilities include: 

  • Financial oversight: analyzing the budgetary impact of new mandates and calculating conference service costs for governing bodies. 
  • Performance monitoring: conducting regular reviews to optimize resource use and internal controls as well as coordinating reporting to key committees (the Advisory Committee on Administrative and Budgetary Questions, the Committee for Programme and Coordination, and the Fifth Committee). 
  • Audit coordination: liaising with oversight bodies to ensure transparency and the implementation of audit recommendations (the Board of Auditors, the Joint Inspection Unit, and the Office of Internal Oversight Services).
