IAMLADP

What is IAMLADP?

The International Annual Meeting on Language Arrangements, Documentation and Publications (IAMLADP) is an international forum and network of managers of international organizations employing conference and language service providers. Every year, it brings together representatives of over 80 member organizations to share knowledge and experiences and discuss subjects of common interest.

IAMLADP governance

The Head of the Department for General Assembly and Conference Management is the permanent Chair of IAMLADP. The Department also provides IAMLADP with a technical secretariat. IAMLADP includes several working groups: on training; on services for conferences and publishing; and on language services.

IAMLADP Universities Contact Group

The Universities' Contact Group (UCG) is part of the working group on training. It acts as IAMLADP liaison between international organizations and training providers/universities, by promoting information exchange and cooperation. Through the Contact Group, organizations can inform universities of the applicable requirements, any anticipated skill gaps, etc., and universities can conversely contribute to the language professions.
