Countries reaffirmed their commitment to achieve the landmark 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development that provides a framework for sustainable development for all countries as the eight-day High Level Political Forum concluded on Wednesday.

Launching the first-ever Sustainable Development Goals report on the new global development agenda adopted last year, Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon today said that the 15-year undertaking is “off to a good start” but will require all parts of the UN family and its partners to work together.
For the first time since last year’s historic adoption of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and its 17 goals, countries will meet in New York at the High-level Political Forum on Sustainable Development from 11-20 July.
To draw attention to progress on the Sustainable Development Goals, we'll highlight the work done in one country toward each of the 17 SDGs every day from 4 July until the UN High-level Political Forum concludes on 20 July.
