Hundreds of young people raised their voices for climate action in the Connect4Climate Film4Climate Global Video Competition, showing that it is possible even in the remotest corners of the globe to take action on climate change. Judges considered entries from around the world — 860 videos from 155 countries, in fact — and were impressed by the young artists’ incredible work, creativity and dedication to working to alleviate climate change. The judging panel, headed by Italian director Bernardo Bertolluci (“The Conformist,” “Last Tango in Paris”), included renowned filmmakers, climate influencers, world leaders and communication professionals.

Connect4Climate announced the winners of the contest at a special ceremony on the sidelines of the UN Climate Change Conference (COP22) in Marrakech at a day celebrating the power of youth, cinema and the creative industries to generate climate action.
