All aboard! The United Nations in Belarus is working with government, private and public sector officials, students and journalists to promote the sustainable development goals and mark the 70th anniversary of the UN in a very special way. Several hundred people boarded the “Express for SDGs” train decorated with the 17 Global Goals in Minsk on 23 October and will tour the country to promote the UN and its 2030 Agenda.
Film screenings and workshops on the SDGs will be held on the train, as will concerts, exhibitions, talk shows, theatre performances, hackathons and cooking demonstrations. Some 250 activities also are planned in the eight cities where the train will stop along the route.
Follow the train’s travels through 30 October and send passengers your support using the hashtag #UN70Express and following on Twitter and Facebook.
