COP23: Philips Lighting director on how LED saves energy

During a conversation at COP23’s Action Day for Financing and SDG11, Barbara Kreissler, Director at B2G Professional Lighting of Philips Lighting, underlined the necessity to make use of existing technologies.

“Just by switching your light to LED, you can save 50 percent of your energy instantly,“ said Kreissler. “If you then include intelligent lighting and remote control, these savings can go up to 80 percent.”
