After more than 40 years at our fifth-floor offices in the DC 1 Building, the Association has moved to a new home on Friday, 10 March 2023.
Since March 2023 our address is: 801 East 45th Street, 4th Floor, New York, NY 10017, in the building known as the UNITAR Building, located on the corner of 45th Street and First Avenue (please note that this is not a mailing address, as there is no mail service in Unitar building --- see the UN mailing address below).
The entrance to our office is on 45th Street.
AFICS/NY is open for business from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesdays to Fridays. Announce visit in person. You can reach us at afics@un.org or by calling 212 963 2943 or by using our webform.
A valid UN ID "R" Ground's Pass issued by PASS and ID Unit is required to enter the building during business hours.
If your UNHQ NY Ground Pass expired, visit PASS and ID Unit to obtain a new one. Bring your Photo ID for them to confirm that you are an UNJSPF beneficiary, i.e. former staff member.
