The 2021 UN Day Concert, sponsored by the Permanent Mission of the Republic of Korea to the United Nations,

will feature live performances in the General Assembly Hall by soprano Youngok Shin and violinists Angela and Jennifer Chun.

The pre-recorded videos, blending classical and contemporary music, include performances by

soprano Youngmi Kim, pianist Yung-wook Yoo, the Goyang Philharmonic Orchestra and K-POP artists aespa.

The 2021 UN Day Concert will take place in the General Assembly Hall on Thursday, 21 October 2021, from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. (EST).

The performances, along with remarks by the Secretary-General and other dignitaries, will also be streamed live on the

United Nations’ online and digital platforms for all UN staff and the public to enjoy from the comfort of their own screens.

The concert marks the 76th anniversary of the Organization and its theme is “Building Back Together for Peace and Prosperity”.
