Session 1: The Situation in Camps and Places of Detention and Global Repatriation Trends This session will provide an overview of the ongoing humanitarian, human rights and security crises in the camps and places of detention in northeast Syria, as well as the latest population data, assessing the scale and scope of the protracted crisis in the context of evolving regional dynamics. Session 2: Repatriation Successes and Challenges This session will focus on national experiences in repatriation, including predeparture arrangements, interagency coordination, legal and policy frameworks, including relevant human rights obligations, as well as logistical and operational obstacles. Participants will present good practices and challenges, including in relation to grounding repatriation efforts on legal and policy frameworks, 3 considering specific needs of women, men, girls and boys, and addressing political and public communication environments.
