Trust Fund7On 17 to 18 April 2008, the Bureau of the United Nations Permanent Forum on Indigenous Issues, acting as the Advisory Group for the projects for the Second International Decade of the World’s Indigenous People, met to consider project proposals received by the Secretariat for funding from the voluntary fund in accordance with General Assembly resolution 59/174 of 22 December 2004. On the basis of available funds, the Advisory Group proposed to award grants to 14 projects totaling $137,779.
