Emergency Appeal funding level in Syria
UNRWA requires US$ 247.2 million to sustain the delivery of humanitarian assistance, basic services and protection
interventions to the 438,000 Palestine refugees estimated to remain in Syria.
As of 30 June 2023, however, UNRWA’s Syria Emergency Appeal is only 15.06 per cent funded. A total of US$ 37.2 million was pledged or received from donors and partners.
