Q: The Israeli army bombed the Gaza Strip controlled by Hamas on July 1. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that military actions against Hamas will be expanded if necessary. What is China's comment?

A: The Chinese side has repeatedly expressed its position on what is going on between Palestine and Israel. We are concerned about the escalation of the tension and once again urge all parties concerned to exercise maximum restraint, keep calm and prevent the situation from deteriorating.
