2. Murder of three young Israelis – Communiqué issued by the Presidency of the Republic
(Paris, 30/06/2014)

The French President was shocked to learn of the discovery today of the dead bodies of the three young Israelis kidnapped in the West Bank on 12 June. He strongly condemns the cowardly murder of Eyal Yifrach, Naftali Frenkel and Gilad Shaar and extends his sincere condolences to their families and to the Israeli people and authorities. The Head of State expresses his concern in the face of the increased violence in the West Bank and Gaza in recent days. He condemns the rocket fire from Gaza into Israeli territory. He calls for everything to be done to prevent any further casualties and the risk of an escalation of violence./.
