West Bank:
– On 7, 8, 9 and 12 February tensions were high and clashes were reported throughout the West Bank following the start of excavation and demolition work by the Israeli authorities near the al-Aqsa mosque. High numbers of injuries were reported. Demonstrations were held in Bethlehem, Hebron, Tulkarm, Jenin, Qalqiliya, Áqqaba and Ázzun in protest at the construction work.
– On 10 February, the IDF arrested 15 Palestinian schoolchildren from a school bus in Bethlehem. They were detained at Etzion detention center overnight and released the next day.

Gaza Strip:
– A Palestinian man was killed by IDF soldiers when they fired from the border fence following the firing of a Rocket Propelled Grenade (RPG) at an IDF observation post by Palestinian militants. Three other Palestinians were injured in separate incidents when the IDF fired from the border fence.
