Slovenia is ready to provide assistance as appropriate in response to specific requests by States lacking the legal and regulatory infrastructure, implementation experience and/or resources for the implementation of the UN Security Council Resolution 1540 (2004).
Slovenia is doing all in its capacity to assist third countries in preventing trafficking in nuclear, chemical and biological weapons and their means of delivery. The Financial Administration (joint Customs and Tax Administration) and the Slovenian Nuclear Safety Administration are active in this field and are offering administrative assistance to other countries in accordance with multilateral and bilateral agreements.
