The Sixth Committee considered the item at its 19th meeting, on 18 October 2019 (see A/C.6/74/SR.19). For its consideration of the item, the Committee had before it a letter dated 11 August 2017 from the Permanent Representative of Uruguay to the United Nations addressed to the Secretary-General (A/72/194).
