The Report of the Committee for Development Policy (E/2019/33, Supplement No. 13) on its 21st plenary session held from 11 to 15 March 2019 is now available in all six official languages on the CDP website.

The report addresses the following themes discussed by the CDP during the session: (1) the ECOSOC annual theme for 2019, “Empowering people and ensuring inclusiveness and equality”; (2) the voluntary national reviews (VNRs) of the implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development; (3) an update on the progress of the multi-year programme on a comprehensive review of the least developed country (LDC) criteria; (4) the monitoring of countries that are graduating or have graduated from the list of LDCs; (5) a review of the application of the LDC category by United Nations Development System (UNDS) organizations; (6) improved assistance for graduating and graduated LDCs; and (7) an input to the preparations for the next programme of action for LDCs.
