Congratulations to CDP Vice-Chair Prof. Sakiko Fukuda-Parr! She was awarded the Grawemeyer World Order Award alongside Terra Lawson-Remer and Susan Randolph. The trio was recognized for their book "Fulfilling Social and Economic Rights", which offers an innovative method for "gauging how well nations are providing basic human rights of food, health, education, housing, work and social well-being to their citizens". The method, the Social and Economic Rights Fulfillment Index, is aimed at reducing disparity. The good news was even broadcast in Times Square!
