Middle East peace process – 70th anniversary of the adoption of resolution 181 by the UN General Assembly (November 29, 2017)
On the 70th anniversary of the adoption of resolution 181 by the UN General Assembly providing for a partition plan and the creation of two states in Palestine, France reaffirms its commitment to the two-state solution, with Israel and Palestine living side by side in security within internationally recognized borders, with Jerusalem as the capital of both states.
France continues to work for such a solution. The conditions are well known. All parties concerned must now resolutely commit to achieving this goal.
