The General Secretariat of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) has condemned in the strongest terms the Israeli occupation forces’ attack on the mourners of the martyr Walid Ash-Sharif in the occupied city of Al-Quds, injuring dozens.

The General Secretariat considered this brutal attack on the funeral and the desecration of the sanctity of Islamic cemeteries a flagrant violation of international laws and conventions and called for investigation and accountability.

It also called on the international community to shoulder its responsibilities towards obligating Israel, the occupying power, to stop its ongoing violations and provide international protection for the Palestinian people and their sanctities.
