SUMMARY RECORD OF THE EIGHTY-EIGHTH MEETING

held in Lausanne on Saturday,
13 August 1949, at 10:30 a.m.

At a brief meeting on Saturday, 13 August, the Commission adopted, with certain drafting amendments, the text of a memorandum prepared by the chief advisors of the three members, containing questions and proposals to be submitted to the Arab and Israeli delegations. It was decided that the memorandum would be formally presented to the delegations of the two parties at separate meetings on Monday, with the request that it be studied and that replies should be returned at the earliest possible moment, preferably within a week.
