Consideration of draft letter from the Commission to the Israeli delegation
The Commission agreed on the text of a draft letter to be sent to the Israeli delegation in connection with their reply to the Commission’s memorandum of 15 August (IS/36). It was understood that such a draft letter would be communicated to the Israeli delegation immediately, in addition to the comments which the Commission would necessarily make at some later date, after having discussed the question fully, on both the Israeli and the Arab answers to the memorandum.
Question of communication of the unofficial Arab note of 15 August to the Israeli delegation
The Commission agreed to request the Principal Secretary to communicate to the Israeli delegation the unofficial Arab note of 15 August containing the replies to the Israeli proposal regarding refugees.
Visit by members of the Economic Survey Group
The PRINCIPAL SECRETARY submitted a tentative programme for the visit of member’s of the Economic Survey Group which was discussed by the Commission.
The Commission agreed that details of the programme should be communicated to members of the Survey Group for their approval.
