by the United States Deputy Representative on the Conciliation Commission
Sir,
In reply to your telegram of 13 August, I have the honour to advise that in extending its invitations to meet in Paris on 10 September, the Conciliation Commission for Palestine has been guided by the relevant resolutions of the General Assembly which call upon the parties to seek a solution of all questions outstanding between them by negotiations conducted either with the Conciliation Commission for Palestine or directly. The Government of Israel may be assured that the proposed discussions in Paris will be conducted fully in accordance with the provisions of these resolutions.
