The following communication, concerning Mr. Horowitz has been received from the Jewish Agency for Palestine.

Dear Mr. Lisicky:

On behalf of the Jewish Agency for Palestine, I have the honor to inform you that for reasons of health Mr. David Horowitz, official Jewish Agency liaison with the United Nations Commission on Palestine, has unexpectedly had to leave for home and will not be available for the time being for further service with the Commission.

In these circumstances Mr. Siegfried Hoofien, Chairman of the Board of the Anglo-Palestine Bank, has been appointed by the Jewish Agency to cooperate with the Commission, particularly in regard to economic affairs.
