The following communication, concerning Treaties, Conventions, and other International Obligations which apply to Palestine, has been received from Mr. Fletcher-Cooke of the United Kingdom Delegation.
UNITED KINGDOM DELEGATION TO THE UNITED NATIONS
Empire State Building
New York 1, N.Y.
20th February, 1948
My dear Bunche,
You will remember that when Mr. Creech-Jones appeared before the Commission yesterday, a member of the Commission asked whether we could furnish a list of the Treaties, Conventions, and other International Obligations which applied to Palestine.
A list of such Treaties etc will be found in Chapter 24 of the Palestine Survey which was prepared for the use of UNSCOP. Enquiries are being made as to whether there are any additions to this list and if there are, I will let you know.
Yours sincerely,
J. Fletcher-Cooke (signed.)
Dr. Ralph J. Bunche,
Principal Secretary to the United Nations
Commission on Palestine,
United Nations,
Lake Success.
