 9 July 1947, at 9:00 a.m.

Page 37, paragraph 8, should read:

“Now the Yishuv, as the Jewish population of Palestine is generally called, is on the one hand a link, the present-day link in that long chain of Jewish generations in Palestine which goes back to its national life, to that very national home which is to be reconstituted in Palestine.”

Page 47, paragraph 3, line 9:

Insert semi-colon after “corridors” and delete “and”.

Page 47, paragraph 3, lines 13, 14 and 15 Should read:

“…The distribution of Jewish out-patients treated in the dispensaries of various institutions can be seen from the diagram on page 14 of ‘Palestine Health in Figures’: 95.4 percent are treated in Jewish…”

Page 49, paragraph 2, 1ine 1:

Substitute “Whereas it is” for “I think while”.

Page 55, Paragraph 4, lines 5 to 7 should read:

“…you can see the beneficial effect .of Jewish settlement on Arab child mortality. In the purely Arab districts the rate is much higher than in the mixed districts of Jaffa and Haifa…”
