Moussa Expresses Extreme Worry over Escalated Israeli Attacks on Gaza (25-09-2005)
Secretary General Amre Moussa of the Arab League of States expressed extreme worry over the continued escalation of the Israeli attacks on Gaza Strip.
Anxiously referring to the detentions carried out by the Israeli troops in the West Bank during the past two days and the news concerning the imminent invasion of the Strip by the Israeli Army, Moussa reiterated that such aggression questions the Israeli withdrawal from Gaza and terminates it as a step on the road of peace.
Moussa concluded his statements stressing that the only consequence of the Israeli troops' return to Gaza would be bringing the region back to the circle of violence claiming further victims among innocent civilians.
