PERMANENT REPRESENTATIVE OF ALGERIA
TO THE UNITED NATIONS ADDRESSED TO THE
PRESIDENT OF THE SECURITY COUNCIL
I have the honour to request that the Security Council extend an invitation under rule 39 of its provisional rules of procedure to His Excellency, Ambassador Clovis Maksoud, Permanent Observer of the League of Arab States to the United Nations, during the Council's discussion of the item entitled "The situation in the occupied Arab territories".
