LETTER DATED 5 FEBRUARY 1999 FROM THE PERMANENT REPRESENTATIVE

OF EGYPT ADDRESSED TO THE PRESIDENT OF THE SECURITY COUNCIL

I have the honour to write to you with reference to document S/1999/25 concerning the list of matters of which the Security Council is seized and on the stage reached in their consideration, in particular paragraphs 7, 8 and 9.

In this regard, Egypt requests that the following items be retained on the above-mentioned list:  items 1, 12, 17 and 20.

I should be grateful if you could have the text of the present letter circulated as a document of the Security Council.
