Final communiqué of the Meeting of Ministers and Heads of Delegation of the
Non-Aligned Countries to the Forty-first Session of the United Nations
General Assembly held on 2 October 1986 in New York
The Ministers for Foreign Affairs and heads of delegation of non-aligned countries to the forty-first session of the General Assembly met in New York on 2 October 1986 to consider their actions on issues before the present session of the General Assembly of special concern to non-aligned countries.

The Ministers expressed satisfaction at the positive response of an overwhelming majority of speakers in the general debate in the forty-first session of the General Assembly in support of the convening of the International Peace Conference on the Middle East. They reaffirmed that the Conference will greatly contribute to the peaceful settlement of the Arab-Israeli conflict and will help restore stability in the region.
