We are deeply concerned about the violence yesterday in the Palestinian Territories which left six dead, and the resumption of the firing of rockets on Sderot.

We call on the parties to respect the truce observed since January and to exercise the utmost restraint, in particular to ensure the success of the Israeli withdrawal from Gaza in the interest of all.
