Readout of the Secretary-General’s meeting with H.E. Mr. Jens Stoltenberg, Secretary General of NATO

The Secretary-General met today with H.E. Mr. Jens Stoltenberg, Secretary General of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO).

They discussed cooperation between the two organizations on a number of issues, particularly in the fields of Countering Improvised Explosive Devices (C-IED) and special capabilities. They agreed on the importance of continuing close collaboration with Afghanistan in the period ahead.
