Saada Daher Hassan is Deputy Chef de Cabinet for Peace and Security and Humanitarian Team to the President of the 76th Session of the United Nations General Assembly. Additionally, she serves as the liaison with the African Group and the Arab Group.

Saada Hassan previously served as the Team Leader of Peace and Security in the OPGA in the 75th.  She worked toward the advancement of the Peace and Security agenda, as well as the timely and effective implementation of the mandates entrusted by Member States to the OPGA.

As a career diplomat, she has more than 18 years of experience in diplomacy, including 15 working with United Nations bodies, the Secretariat and agencies. Before joining OPGA, she previously served as acting Deputy Permanent Representative at the Permanent Mission of Djibouti to the United Nations. Saada actively participated in various policy dialogue and decision-making processes at the UN General Assembly, the High-Level Political Forum, The Special Committee on Peacekeeping Operations of the UN (C34), the Peacekeeping Ministerial Conference on Defense, and the UN Chiefs of Police Summit.

Her portfolio at the Permanent Mission of Djibouti to the UN covered a wide range of activities, including peacekeeping, disarmament, peacebuilding, decolonization, terrorism, development, UN reforms, the Security Council and elections.
