In accordance with General Assembly resolution 75/280 of 25 May 2021, “International meeting entitled “Stockholm+50: a healthy planet for the prosperity of all – our responsibility, our opportunity” and resolution 75/326 of 15 September 2021, “Modalities for the international meeting entitled “Stockholm+50: a healthy planet for the prosperity of all – our responsibility, our opportunity”, a one-day preparatory meeting for Stockholm+50 will be held on Monday, 28 March 2022 at the United Nations Headquarters in New York.

The preparatory meeting is to be convened by the President of the General Assembly and will be chaired by the Stockholm+50 co-hosts, Sweden and Kenya. The objective of the meeting is to consider the preparations for the Leadership Dialogues and other preparations for the international meeting. The meeting will be structured around three consecutive interactive discussions on the preparations for the three Stockholm+50 Leadership Dialogues, which include:

Leadership Dialogue 1: Reflecting on the urgent need for actions to achieve a healthy planet and prosperity of all.

Leadership dialogue 2: Achieving a sustainable and inclusive recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic.

Leadership Dialogue 3: Accelerating the implementation of the environmental dimension of Sustainable Development in the context of the Decade of Action.

Groups and institutions must be accredited to participate in Stockholm+50. Accredited organizations can then register to attend Stockholm+50. Please note that there are different deadlines for registration for different categories of stakeholders.
