Nicola is an intern with the Human Rights Team in the Office of the 76th President of the General Assembly. Prior to the United Nations, he was an intern with the US Department of State’s Bureau of Democracy, Human Rights, and Labor, where he worked with the Office of Western Hemisphere Affairs. Currently a student in Georgetown University’s Masters of Science in Foreign Service program, Nicola is excited to build on his experiences with the Department of State and in US electoral politics and learn from the team at OPGA. Originally from Rome, Italy, Nicola grew up in Buffalo, NY and considers Western New York home.
