Maike Rocker

Maike Rocker

Maike Rocker is an Adviser in the Sustainable Development Team of the 76th President of the General Assembly.

Before joining the team, Maike worked at the national headquarters of one of the leading German parties, where she had various assignments. Lastly, she was head of staff of the deputy national chairperson, where she has been working inter alia on issues such as social justice, gender equality, migration, non-proliferation, fair global trade and sustainability. In this context she was also involved in international cooperation with parliamentarian and CSO stakeholders in various countries. Furthermore, she gained international insights during her work for the German cultural Institute in Izmir, Turkey.

Maike holds a master’s degree in political science from the University of Münster, Germany.
