Fahad Alajmi is an Adviser on Peace and security and Humanitarian issues in the Office of the President of the 76th session of the General Assembly. 

Prior to joining the Office of the President, Fahad worked as Attaché in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the State of Kuwait from February 2017 until March 2021. 

Beginning March 2021, Mr Alajmi, started to work in the rank of Third Secretary in the Cabinet of the First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the State of Kuwait. While in the Ministry of Foreign affairs, Fahad dealt with various issues pertaining to Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), League of Arab States (LAS), Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), United Nations (UN), the Middle East Strategic Alliance (MESA), Kuwait’s Gulf Crisis Reconciliation Team, Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development (KFAED), and the Kuwaiti Parliament.

Fahad holds a bachelor’s degree in international Relations, in peace studies from the University of Missouri – Columbia (MU), he also has a multicultural certificate from MU, with cross-cultural interactions in different environments with respect to globalization.

Fahad speaks Arabic and English fluently and has working knowledge of French and Spanish.
