Elizabeth served as an Intern at the Office of the President of the 76th session of the United Nations General Assembly in the Communications team. Before working at the United Nations, Elizabeth worked for a research AI company in New Zealand and has experience working in public affairs in China. She has also written articles on ethnicity and diversity for New Zealand’s leading news outlet, the New Zealand Herald, and has interned with the BBC (British Broadcasting Corporation) in the UK and has worked as a copyeditor for Xinhua News in China.
She has studied in New Zealand, China, and the UK. Elizabeth holds a Bachelor of Communications and a Master of Arts in International Journalism from City University London. Elizabeth also studied at Tsinghua University in Beijing for a year as a recipient of the New Zealand Prime Minister’s Scholarship for Asia. Elizabeth speaks Chinese fluently.
