Readout of meeting between President of General Assembly and Minister of Foreign and European Affairs of the Slovak Republic

The President of the 76^th session of the General Assembly, H.E. Mr. Abdulla Shahid, met today with H.E. Mr. Ivan Korcok, the Minister of Foreign and European Affairs of the Slovak Republic.

Minister Korcok expressed support to the priorities of the President for the 76^th session and agreed on the importance of achieving universal vaccination to recover from the pandemic and building back better. They also discussed human rights, gender equality, peace and security, and the PGA’s Youth Fellowship Programme.

The meeting took place in the President’s office at United Nations Headquarters in New York.
