Readout of the meeting between the President of the General Assembly and the Permanent Representative of the Republic of Korea

The President of the 76th session of the General Assembly, H.E. Mr. Abdulla Shahid, received a farewell call today, from H.E. Cho Hyun, Permanent Representative of the Republic of Korea

The President thanked Ambassador Cho Hyun for his leadership and work in the General Assembly, and his gratitude for the support and counsel extended to the President and his Office. Ambassador Cho Hyun, thanked the President for the close collaboration and support during the President’s tenure.

The President wished Ambassador Cho Hyun the best in his future endeavours.

The meeting took place at the President’s Office at the United Nations Headquarters in New York.
