Readout of the meeting between the President of the General Assembly and the Minister for Foreign Affairs, Education and Sport of the Principality of Liechtenstein

The President of the 76th session of the General Assembly, H.E. Mr. Abdulla Shahid, met today with H.E. Ms Dominique Hasler, Minister for Foreign Affairs, Education and Sport of the Principality of Liechtenstein. 

 The President thanked Minister Hasler for Liechtenstein’s support to the Presidency of Hope. He said the success of High-Level Week opened up new possibilities in the return to in-person diplomacy at the UN. 

 On the Secretary-General’s report ‘Our Common Agenda’, the President said he intended to work with the full membership on its implementation. Minister Hasler stressed the need to include civil society voices in the conversation.

 The meeting took place in the President’s office at the United Nations Headquarters in New York.
