The programme sought to address the water crisis in Kohat District through community involvement in the management and conservation of water. The programme engaged with local communities in order to develop sustainable water conservation systems, improve irrigation schemes, and rehabilitate dry-land ecosystems to minimize drought-induced insecurities.
