Yes, a programme period can be extended once. A “no cost” extension implies that there will be no re-allocation of funds and no change to the overall programme budget. In such cases, the lead agency is required to contact the HSU Programme Officer no later than three months before the end date of the Financial Agreements. The lead agency is required to submit a formal request for a no-cost extension, which must be accompanied by an updated workplan indicating activities to be completed during the extension period.
