Alexander De Croo

Mr. Alexander De Croo is the Administrator of the United Nations Development Programme. He started his official duties on 2 December 2025. Mr. De Croo served as Prime Minister of Belgium from 2020 to 2025. His tenure included crisis management during the COVID-19 pandemic, the coordination of Belgium’s vaccination rollout and economic recovery strategies, and Belgium's presidency of the Council of the European Union during a period of considerable geopolitical strain.

Ms. Shuvai Busuman Nyoni is the Executive Director of the African Leadership Centre (ALC), Nairobi, Kenya, and a gender, peace and security practitioner and researcher. The ALC is a research and training initiative that seeks to contribute to Africa’s long term social and economic security and development terrain by training and mentoring the next generation of African leaders as well as through rigorous research and knowledge generation.

16 June 2017 Panama assumes Presidency of the Human Security Network: At a luncheon summoned by the Permanent Representative of Panama to the UN, H.E. Laura Flores, Panama assumed leadership of the Human Security Network from Slovenia.
