Congratulations to the Bahamas for their commitment in transforming its national food systems and participating in the Summit Dialogues.

The Bahamas Ministry of Agriculture and Marine Resources says that transforming Bahamas’ food system is the most powerful action they can take to solve their biggest problems. Food touches on every aspect of life in the Bahamas. It is the foundation for Bahama’s culture, economy, and relationship with the natural world.

Hurricanes and the pandemic have impacted the most vulnerable, and now, they have an opportunity to “build back stronger than ever”. They are calling on citizens to get involved and become a Food Hero by contacting foodsytemsbahamas@bahamas.gov.bs

The United Nations Food Systems Summit Dialogues offer a powerful opportunity to engage meaningfully and explore collectively how to achieve sustainable food systems.
