Statement by the EU Spokesperson on the Shooting of Three Israelis at West Bank Settlement

This morning, a Palestinian gunman killed three Israelis, one police man and two security guards, at the entrance of the West Bank settlement of Har Adar. Another security guard was gravely injured.

There can be no justification for such a crime and attempts by Hamas to glorify the attack are reprehensible. Violence and terror will only achieve more loss and pain and must stop.

The European Union offers its deepest condolences to the families of the victims of the shootings.
