The General Secretariat of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) condemned the Israeli aggression on Jenin camp and the assassination of three Palestinian citizens, in addition to Israel’s attack on the Ibrahimi Mosque, schools and public Palestinian properties, stressing that these crimes and the ongoing aggression preceding them against the Palestinian people require investigation and accountability.
The OIC reiterated its solidarity and support for the cause of Palestinian prisoners, calling on human rights and international institutions to intervene immediately for the release of prisoner Nasser Abu Hamid, whose health condition deteriorated seriously.
The OIC held Israel, the occupying Power, fully responsible for the repercussions of its continued criminal aggression against the Palestinian people, and called on the international community, especially the UN Security Council, to shoulder its responsibilities in putting an end to the ongoing Israeli aggression and provide international protection for the Palestinian people.
