Europe

  • On 7 August, CPJPO held a rally of solidarity with Gaza in Luxembourg.
  • From 7 to 22 August, the Palestine Solidarity Campaign invites you to the Palestinian Arts Festival: GAZA ON GAZA to be held in London. The exhibition features works created by Palestinian artists based in Gaza in response to the destruction of 2014, and explores the role of art in raising awareness about the human rights of Palestinians.
  • On 1-9 August, the Palestine Solidarity Campaign (PSC) invited UK bicyclists to The Big Ride Palestine, a 435 mile ride that raised essential funds for Gaza’s children, as well as created awareness across the UK of the Palestinian struggle.

Americas

  • On 4 August, Defense for Children International – Palestine held an event “A conversation with Siam Nawara” in New York. Siam Nawara is the father of Nadeem Nawara, one of the Palestinian teens killed by Israeli forces during a demonstration last year in the occupied West Bank.
  • 28 August will see the start the Palestinian Festival in Ottawa. This will be the 2nd Palestinian-Canadian festival and will showcase the traditional cuisine, language, music, fashion, and dance of the Palestinian people.
