With funding provided through the EU Regional Trust Fund in Response to the Syrian crisis (MADAD), UNRWA has provided basic services in education, health, cash assistance and protection to Palestine Refugees from Syria in Lebanon and Jordan. This evaluation was managed by the Lebanon Field Office and conducted by IOD PARC. Serving a dual purpose of accountability and learning, and guided by standard evaluation criteria, the research focused on activities implemented in the second phase of the project from October 2018 until December 2019. The evaluation research approach was planned in early 2020 but was adapted to respond to the COVID-19 pandemic, applying innovative methods to collect beneficiary feedback.
